A big part of what we forge ends up in critical equipment: power generation, transportation, defense, and heavy industry. That work only matters because of the people who protect and support this country every day.
This Thanksgiving, we want to recognize:

Our military men and women, past and present, who put their lives on the line so the rest of us can go to work, run our businesses, and support our families.

The many veterans who work in manufacturing, logistics, trucking, and trades – including those in our own shop.

The people in government, engineering, and infrastructure who keep projects moving, write the specs, and maintain the systems that rely on forged components.
We don’t take that stability for granted. American manufacturing is part of that backbone, and we’re proud that our open-die forgings and rings play a role in supporting it. ⚙️🛠️
At Anderson Shumaker, Thanksgiving isn’t just a date on the calendar – it’s a tradition.
For decades, we’ve marked the holiday by giving turkeys to our employees. It’s simple, it’s old-school, and that’s the point.
