Spring has finally sprung in Chicago! We’re “rolling” in the season with an increased production of our forged round bars.

Did you know that round bars are an Anderson Shumaker specialty? We really strive to raise the “bar” with both our materials inventory and production. Our custom round bars are suited for multiple applications and for a variety of industries including: special machinery, construction, manufacturing, and food product machinery. No matter what your project needs, Anderson Shumaker can forge the perfect round bar. Forging bars (rather than machining or casting) helps create a sound center within the bar. Forging also results in a stronger, more durable product. We can forge round bars in many materials including exotic alloys, nickel-based alloys, tool steel, titanium, and a variety of stainless steels, including:

Need only a small quantity? Don’t worry, because short runs are our specialty! There are no minimum order requirements and custom sizes are available. Regardless if the bar is forged surface, rough machined, or even ground, our round bars can be produced with a short lead time.
