Happy Thanksgiving from your friends Anderson Shumaker! We’re thankful to have a few days off to celebrate with family and friends this holiday week. This year, we have a lot to be thankful for (not just a second – or third – helping of pumpkin pie).
New Management
We’re thankful to have been under new management since June 2018. The new owners have made so many incredible strides and strategic upgrades. For example, they’ve optimized our forging processes, increased sales, expanded into new markets, helped us earn new certifications, and promoted a wonderful company culture. We’re looking forward to their plans for 2020 already!
An Amazing Company Culture
The company culture at Anderson Shumaker continues to be fantastic. From the president to the maintenance crew, we treat our employees like family. Our business is built on excellent leadership, a dedicated support staff, and our hardworking shop employees. After all, we’re only as good as our workforce. We’re grateful for their contributions each and every day.
New Certifications: PED, AS9001D, and ISO 9001:2015
We’re both proud of and thankful for the certifications we achieved this year. PED (June 2019), AS9001D (March 2019), and ISO 9001:2015 (September 2018). These certifications have really open doors for us in the forging industry.
Refreshed Website Design
One year ago we launched our new website. We’ve made amazing digital updates all around. First, Anderson Shumaker’s new website is extremely easy to navigate. Most importantly, it’s mobile compatible. Therefore, customers can easily keep in touch with us on the go. Second, we’ve improved our website’s content. Customers can quickly find exactly what they’re looking. Lastly, we’ve created stunning modern graphics. There are also smaller but impactful changes throughout. Every change is designed to make the Anderson Shumaker digital experience the very best, and it shows!
Record Breaking Sales (July 2019)
We’re crushing it with sales in 2019. We hit an all-time company record in July 2019, and we’ve stayed at similar high numbers since. Our impressive sales are due to a number of the above: new management practices, our amazing workers, our well-earned certifications, and of course, our new website upgrades driving sales. We can’t wait to see what 2020 brings!
